For years now I've been keeping a database list in Microsoft Works on my old Gateway 486 computer of books I'd like to read. Scraps from the newspaper or Newsweek, recommendations from TV shows and friends. Needless to say, I never look at it.
Library Thing is great for this application! And I can add pretty book covers, too!
For the initial 5 to add to my library I just took 5 titles off the top of my head. However, I like the ability to add reviews; though these first 5 are not rigorous, I can see myself spouting on ad nauseam about what I like ... and don't.
Okay, adding my widget and page element for Library Thing was pretty easy.
